Having successfully developed numerous multipound infrastructure assets for merchant public and private sector organisations, we have a proven track record in developing and operating waste and energy infrastructure.


Meet the team

Mark Denham
CEO

Mark has 20 years’ experience in the technology and energy sector, holding senior positions in blue chip companies and start-ups.


Mark was previously a board director at Mitie's former Asset Management division, leading a team that successfully contracted £100 million of decentralised energy projects.


At WEPP, Mark oversees projects and operations.

Simon Brown
Director

Simon has extensive experience in developing in waste and energy infrastructure, and has held senior positions in established asset management organisations.


Simon has a proven track record of identifying opportunities, as well as launching and completing projects including £60m Hoddesdon ERF and our 22,000 tonne clinical treatment capacity.


At WEPP, Simon manages the pre-development landscape between all stakeholders developing a robust business case for our projects.

Graham Fulton 

Head of Operations

Graham is a chartered quantity surveyor, with experience in delivering multimillion pound projects across a variety of different infrastructure sectors including aviation, rail and energy. 


Graham’s most recent role was site-based on the new £60 million waste-to-energy gasification plant in Hoddesdon.


At WEPP, Graham manages all aspects of our facilities in construction or in operation. 

Julian Harris
Director

Julian qualified as a lawyer at Allen & Overy LLP, and subsequently became a partner involved in facilitating merges with local law firms.

Julian has worked on a number of power projects around the world, including a multibillion euro portfolio of energy generating wind farm assets across mainland Europe.

He also held an additional advisory role for a group of European development banks on the Rabai power station in Kenya.

Julie Smith

Executive Assistant

Julie has over 20 years’ experience within global financial institutions. 


Her most recent role was at HSBC in the London head office, where she was a Senior Relationship Manager for ten years, managing the overall service of a portfolio of strategic asset manager clients. 


Julie joined WEPP in July 2020 and provides office management and administrative support to the team.
