WEPP developed and funded a £60 million waste-to-energy plant, which was one of the largest merchant plants in the UK at the time, converting commercial and industrial waste into energy.
WEPP is a key investor in the £107 million Full Circle Generation project in Northern Ireland, which delivers 65MWh of clean, green electricity on an annual basis.
WEPP is installing and operating a high temperature clinical waste treatment facility on a derelict, former incinerator site which once operational will be capable of treating ~8,000 tonnes of waste a year.

This facility is delivered by our joint venture with Low Carbon and WEPP and will generate electricity for over 30,000 homes and preventing 180,000 tonnes of waste going to landfill per annum.
The Stoke Clinical Waste Incineration Facility is a new, state of the art, clinical waste incineration facility currently under construction. It will have the capability to process 16,000 tonnes of waste per annum.
